Pat 'O' Reid Awards:

Pat was a firm believer that 'Every Athlete Deserves A Certified Coach' and it is felt that these awards will have long-lasting benefits to the athletes and coaches of Ontario in the broadest sense.

Pat 'O' Reid Coaching Awards:
|
Donations in memory of Pat 'O' Reid are used to fund two annual coaching awards. The worthy recipients will be one coach from northern Ontario and one coach from southern Ontario. These awards are given to allow coaches to continue upgrading their coaching certification and assist the recipient's curling club to certify additional coaches.

The Pat 'O' Reid Coaching Awards program has been expanded to include support for one camp assistant at the Amethyst Camp and two camp assistants at the Trillium Camp. The awards given will be determined by the camp director. The recipients will use their awards for the purpose of professional development. Each recipient will receive a personal memento and a cheque for $500.00.

The Pat 'O' Reid awards program also includes awards to be given to one ice technician from the Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) and one ice technician from the Ontario Curling Association (OCA). The recipients will be determined by their respective associations. The recipients will use their awards for the purpose of professional development. Each recipient will receive a personal memento and a cheque for $500.00.
